This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

To provide administrative and organisational support to the legal teams, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of tasks while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance and client service across all administrative processes and interactions. The role will incorporate assisting with general office duties and ad‑hoc facilities tasks where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the client onboarding process with key activities by drafting letters of engagement and terms of business, opening electronic files and logging initial activity on the case management system.
  • Support the team with reporting activities e.g., checking retainer file usage.
  • Support with Employment Tribunal processes such as collating and printing documents, assisting with disclosures, and arranging postal delivery.
  • Raise purchase orders, process disbursements and support invoicing.
  • Maintain and replenish office supplies within a defined budget.
  • Assist with general office duties as needed to ensure smooth daily operations (including answering incoming calls and dealing with enquiries).
  • Arrange compliance testing e.g., fire alarm tests, annual maintenance services and ad-hoc repairs.
  • Support other activities as required by the team, e.g., arranging and diarising meetings, booking travel and accommodation, assisting with the onboarding process of new colleagues and helping to arrange team socials.

Skills/Attributes:

  • Strong administrative experience, ideally within a professional services or legal environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft and amend clear and accurate documents.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and, ideally, case management systems.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in document preparation.
  • Experience of handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, discretion and a client‑focused approach.
  • A positive, collaborative team player who will work effectively with colleagues and with the skills and attitude to work independently on tasks

 

Hybrid – minimum of two days in the Nottingham office. Occasional travel to other EPG offices, meetings and events as required.

Flexible hours, Monday to Friday, 25 hours covering core office hours
